New Life Christian School
Community Life
Community life at New Life Christian School starts with the student and our investment into our Portrait of the Student, Growing in GRACE. Our goal is to nurture well-rounded, Christ-centered individuals who reflect God’s truth in both character and intellect. Our Portrait of the Student outlines the core virtues we intentionally cultivate from early childhood through high school graduation. Structured around our GRACE framework, these traits grow with students at every stage, equipping them to honor God, serve others, and lead with purpose.

Growing in GRACE
G Gratitude- Recognizing and expressing thankfulness in attitude and words for God’s goodness.
R Responsibility- Faithfully stewarding what has been entrusted to you.
A Acts of Servanthood- Humbly putting the needs of others before your own in attitude and action.
C Christian Faith Development- Growing in a personal relationship with Jesus Christ through discipleship and obedience to God’s Word.
E Ethics & Integrity- Living truthfully and consistently according to God’s Word.
Spiritual Life & Discipleship
At New Life Christian School, faith is not an isolated class period or an afterthought, but it is the lens through which we view everything. In alignment with our mission, we ensure a Christ-centered environment where faith and learning are seamlessly integrated. We equip students with the academic facts, concepts, and skills needed to excel in any vocational and life calling, while anchoring their hearts in eternal truth.
Deuteronomy 6:7–9 calls us to speak of God’s Word when we sit, walk, lie down, and rise. We put this into practice daily by weaving Scripture and biblical truth throughout every academic subject and daily conversation. In our classrooms, faith and learning are never separate; they work together to reveal God’s truth, order, and purpose in the world around us.

Athletics (Grades 6-12)
New Life student-athletes compete for a purpose higher than wins and losses. In grades 6 through 12, students use sports to build physical discipline, lead with purpose, and glorify God on and off the field.
Through every practice and game, athletes develop perseverance, push through mental and physical challenges, and learn the value of hard work. Teammates set aside self-interest to support one another, building Christlike character through competition and fair play.
In every sports season, student-athletes put faith into action. They show Gratitude for their God-given abilities, honor their Responsibility to the team, perform Acts of Servanthood by encouraging peers, and display Ethics and Integrity under pressure. New Life athletes leave the court and field prepared to impact the world for Christ.
Vision Days- Community, Faith, Service
New Life students step beyond traditional classroom walls during three dedicated Vision Days each year. Students in grades 5 through 12 pause standard academic schedules to build school culture, deepen spiritual maturity, and put their faith into action.
In the fall, students build community through outdoor adventures like ropes courses, hiking, and canoeing. These experiences encourage students to step out of their comfort zones, strengthen cross-grade friendships, and set a positive tone for the school year.
In the winter, students gather off-site for Spiritual Emphasis Day. Away from daily routines, students hear inspiring speakers, join in worship, and engage God’s Word to accelerate their personal Christian Faith Development.
In the spring, the entire student body mobilizes for Operation Impact, a campus-wide day of service. Students demonstrate Acts of Servanthood by serving local organizations and neighbors—learning firsthand that true faith actively puts the needs of others first.
