What do you love about NLCS?

I like youth basketball because it gives younger students the opportunity to learn basketball skills at an earlier age. I also like art class because we do fun projects and we can bring them home to show our parents the hard work we do at school.

 

In what ways have you grown in your faith as a result of your experience at NLCS? 

I am learning to be more unselfish, and being exposed to the Bible on a daily basis.

 

Think of a teacher who has/had a positive influence in your school experience and tell us how they challenged you or made learning enjoyable for you.

Mrs. Keys is one of my favorite teachers because she is kind, caring, very helpful, and taught me to be a really good reader.

 

Describe the community at NLCS.

New Life is a great community where the students interact and get to know each other.

 

In what ways has NLCS challenged you in your studies, your faith and your character? 

New Life has helped me to be more social. I was very timid, and wasn’t sure about coming to school. When I came here, I was very glad I did.
