Philosophy
The primary philosophy of New Life Christian School is to provide opportunity for Preschool through 12th grade students to study in a Christ-centered academic environment.
Our Philosophy Statement is outlined in the following areas:
Spiritual Goals:
To seek to win to Christ those who are uncommitted.
To educate students so that they successfully integrate Christian philosophy into all areas of their lives.
Intellectual Goals:
To provide an academic climate conducive to learning.
To encourage the learning of necessary skills required for meaningful participation in society as an adult.
To nurture competency in communications and research skills, in order to enhance students’ abilities to make mature decisions.
Social Goals:
To provide children with opportunities for growth in social skills required for adequate interaction in today’s society.
To supply students with an adequate understanding of, and an appreciation for, the privileges and responsibilities of living in a republic.
Cultural Goals:
To promote an appreciation for, and a creativity in, the arts.
To encourage students to understand and appreciate cultural patterns different from their own.
Physical Goals:
To provide opportunity for the learning of physical skills necessary for sports participation.
To provide opportunities for growth in physical performance skills.
To nurture opportunities for wholesome recreation and group cooperation activities.
Character Goals:
To develop and encourage strong character traits (honesty, loyalty, etc.) that are complementary to Christian development.
